Nzero

Nzero  (Aka Marc Hand) is a consecrated Nganga (healer) of the many branches of the Bwiti, having facilitated over a thousand souls on their journey of self-discovery.
He answered the call to work with the magical medicine of central Africa over fourteenth years ago when he first heard the hypnotic healing sound of the mongogo in a sacred plant ceremony. This led him to immerse himself in this ancient tradition and become part of the sacred community in the mystical forests of Gabon. It was here that he was initiated by his Bwiti Nima (pape) Tatayo and his beloved Bantu brothers. Having dedicated so many years to studying and practising the ancient ways he is in the process of mastering the two sacred instruments that are unique to this lineage - the Mogongo (Mouth Bow) and the Ngombi (Arched Harp).

His musical accomplishments have been blessed by the elders of the tradition who have the utmost respect for his focus and commitment to delivering the sonic frequencies (polyrhythms) so accurately as an integral part of the epic Bwiti transmission.
He has dedicated multiple hours to the spiritual discipline of the punu and Fang branches, since his first initiation he has returned every year to pick up new tools and bring back more magic. For over a decade of his life, he has been learning how to transmit the many ancient healing rituals dance steps and ceremonial songs that work symbiotically with the Iboga Root Bark to inspire deep healing and transformation.

Even now after so many years, he continues to undergo even more extensive initiations and devoted studies to keep expanding his spiritual knowledge and perfecting the art of his craft.
His dedication and commitment in this life are to bring through the Bwiti Transmission with the utmost respect to the mystical lineage with which he is so aligned. It is his soul’s purpose and his heart's passion to walk this sacred path and hold the torch in the highest vibration possible. He lives a simple life with his two wolves in his beautiful woodland home situated in the magical land of Avalon where he hosts Bwiti ceremonies in his consecrated Temple with his dedicated crew. He regularly sends generous donations back to Gabon, feeding the source of his inspiration to help fund his African soul family and fuel the community that he has so much respect and gratitude for.
